I'm Clare Doherty ~ I've worked as an acupuncturist since 2007 and established Hope Floats in 2016.
I am member of the British Acupuncture Council and complete professional development courses regularly both in the classroom and out.
When I’m not at work or at home with my husband and two boys I will usually be somewhere walking with my three dogs!
I completed three years training at the Northern College of Acupuncture and was awarded both a Diploma in Acupuncture and a Post Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture. I am also qualified in acupressure massage. As an adjunct to acupuncture, I use Gua Sha and cupping.
I love what I do; there’s no end of things to learn and explore with Chinese medicine and I believe it is the perfect partner to Western Medicine.
